MEET THE DOCTORS
Gayle Nissen, DC, CCSP
Dr. Nissen graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1989. She began her practice in Ellsworth in September of 1989 and has practiced here since. She received her Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician certificate in 1994. This enabled her to be a member of the FICS (International Chiropractic Sports Federation) delegation to the 6th All Africa Games in Zimbabwe, Africa where she worked with chiropractors from several countries. As a group they treated Olympic athletes from 41 different African countries. Dr. Nissen was also a member of ProSport Chiropractic, an organization that treats cowboys at rodeo events. While she was active with ProSport she served at Wisconsin State Coordinator, Great Lakes Circuit Coordinator and Secretary and Education Director on the Board of Directors. She was also honored with the Distinguished Service Award and ProSport Doctor of the Year. Currently Dr. Nissen is concentrating her time on developing a wellness centered practice.
Samantha Johnson, DC
Dr. Johnson graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in April 2017 and joined our team in August 2017. She has a passion for helping people achieve their best health naturally. Dr. Johnson has completed courses in kinesiotaping, deep tissue release, posture correction and nutrition. She enjoys working with all ages. Dr. Johnson brings an upbeat energy to our team!

Yvette has worked for Dr. Nissen since November 2007. She received her Chiropractic Assistant certification in 2008 and completed the Wisconsin state certification for Chiropractic Technician in October 2010. She is the talent that decorates our office, the creative force that makes our patient education bulletin boards and our liaison to the insurance companies for benefit information. She is a valuable member of our team and we would not be complete without her.
Chiropractic Assistant/Technician, Massage Therapist
Ashley joined our team in September 2017. Ashley has been a massage therapist for 12 years. Her goal as a chiropractic assistant/massage therapist is to help patients feel relaxed and to help heal them from any injury they have. Her services in massage include swedish massage, trigger point and deep-tissue massage.
